Our Passion
SpiritSmith designs and curates art that resonates with our soul. We choose pieces that whisper to our spirit, our roots and our passions. We design and add to our collection with pieces that have intention. Items in our collections are chosen meticulously to await the person they reflect.
Our Materials
Our standard pieces are cast in a copper alloy we mix with care: 95% copper, refined with silicon and germanium. Copper gives each piece its warmth and history as humanity’s first metal. Silicon and germanium enhance the finest details of the mould and slows tarnishing – keeping its glow far longer than pure copper. Every piece is cast and finished by hand, and it slowly softens and warms with wear, carrying its own marks. Any design can also be cast in silver or gold on special order. Our carvings are sculpted from hardwood and bone – each grain and texture left to speak for itself.reflect.
Our Process
We start with an inspiration, an idea that catches our heart and calls to our spirit. From there, we decide on a unique way to express that idea. Design is followed by a print in wax, then a lost-wax casting that produces the final piece — the same method metalworkers have used for six thousand years, with modern tools in service of an ancient craft. Our cast product lines are unique and crafted with care.
